Oregano.

My little brother (okay, he's 25 and taller than me) knew a kid in high school who was so convinced that the oregano he was smoking was weed that he got high off it. Regularly. He wasn't the brightest bulb in the box.

Macx - C'mon... no leather pouches? I custom blend bulk stock, too, but usually the suppliers will toss in a leather pouch or two. So, you're in year eight or you quit after eight?

Funny how everyone seems to love the pipe aroma and despise the cigar, but the cigar is more enjoyable to smoke (flavor-wise) than the pipe any day (IMO).

Is that a cigar in the ashtray? I've been around the block....the blade is for cutting the cigar open to replace the tobacco with something "different" (a blunt). That's weed....

That's because most people are only exposed to $1 cigars or swishers. They've never been near a quality cigar as it has been smoked.

Haha, Long Ago LEO, I must not have bought bulk enough. I smoked from age 16 to 24. a pack an a half or so of Pall Mall or Kool non-filters (when I was working and the like) and my pipes and cigars (during downtime, when I had time to enjoy). I had the habit bad & the thing I miss most is the cigars and after that the pipe, never even have a cigarette craving. Just get a craving for a good cigar every now and again. But I know myself well enough to know that if I ever lit up again, just once, I'd have the habit back like it never left. So I have been quit for more than 11 years on this last 16 Sept.

Macx - Congrats on your discipline, sir. I've never smoked cigarettes and didn't start the pipe & cigar bit until I was nearly 50. I can identify with the cigar craving when I find myself stranded on my 100-mile ribbon of highway with no sticks.

princewally - You are correct. I remember smoking those things some times to keep me occupied while on "stationary patrol," but my bro assured me that once I had a couple of real cigars, I wouldn't be able to stand the smell of a "gas station stick." He was right. The 10-guys that get together each year to fish Kabetogama, Namakan, etc., bring a week's supply of samples that (we've) discovered over the course of the year. Each evening, it's the routine around the bonfire, sampling these cigars. We like to think we're regular aficionados. We're not, but we act it out pretty well.

Aren't those called buds? That isn't "smokeable" in that form is it?
