Taurus had a $75 rebate on their 1911 through the end of the year, and I bought one.

Somehow, I forgot to include the sales receipt. The rebate bots DID get the completed warranty card, but their computer thinks they didn't, so they claim that is missing too. Now I need another to include with the "resubmission". I'll call Taurus tomorrow to see if there's anything I can do, but I know how those rebate processing centers work - if you forget to fill in one box, no check for you...

Anyone not bother to send in their warranty registration cards?

-Chuck

I don't send in warranty registration cards on anything, including guns. All I've ever needed for warranty service the few times I've needed it is a copy of the receipt.

Might you have purchased a Taurus and still have a warranty card sitting in a box?

Go to Gunstop, ask Larry to copy a card for you. or give you one from a used trade in gun, he probably will..

Taurus customer service can't get me a new card, so I'm out of luck unless I can scare one up.

I'll stop in at Gunstop and see if Larry can help. thanks for the suggestion.

I think I have one. If you still need it, PM me and I'll see if I can dig it up.

Thanks, but I found one.

I couldn't make it to Gunstop before they closed tonight, but I stopped at Bill's and they were able to help me out.

This turned out to be a lot less of a hassle than I thought.
