Once upon a time in California, there was a boy with some truck gears that he wanted to sell online. Which he did, and he cashed the check, and then he wanted more money. Then he was a dick. The conversations took place on a forum. The rest of the people on the forum took offense to the boy and his tactics. At one point they post pictures of his mom and his cell phone number. It goes for 73 pages but by page 5 you get the jist. You have to get into it further to see when they really get to screwing with this poor boy. Forum is Here
Sorry, you do have to sign up to read it but its worth a few minutes of your time.

A FEW MINUTES??? It took 2 hours of my life (couldn't stop reading it) to get thru 30 pages... finally had to skip to page 76 to see if the guy finally got his money back!
That was a great example of how not to do business, and a great example of a forum protecting its members. Funny as hell too!
I gotta go to bed.

I didn't mean the sign up time; that was easy. It was trying to stop reading the thread I had trouble with. Hard to believe that kid is such a... rectal opening.
Thanks for bringing it to the board.

Good grief

On another forum I frequent, this has become a verb:
To 'Wenzel' : to make false and widly inaccurate claims as to condition or value of an item,
'Wenzeling' : failing to realize the gig is up and making further ridiculous outlandish claims portraying yourself as the victim of a misunderstanding, then throwing yourself on the mercy of the forum when finally forced to admit to skulduggery
'Wenzeled': being captured doing either of the above.

(Actually, they're not related, but the drama around their conviction and education did make it impossible for my father to be accepted into any US medical school; he had to go to Canada.)

Joel,
Thanks for the comment. I wasn't offended by what was mentioned in the thread about the other Wenzel. I've also seen this thread mentioned on another forum. He got what he deserved. I was mostly thinking about the ‘Wenzelization’ of the English language.
Thanks again
JW
