Absolutely! :D

Speaking of stupid stuff, I attendend a gun show this weekend and the amount of stupidity I witnessed could fill pages here.

Complete disregard for the first rule of gun safety from many, not all, but one is too many for me.

I really did not appreciate hearing the rack of a 12 gauge shotgun only to glance over and find myself looking down it's barrel. :x :x

I finished my business and headed out quckly. I'm not too fond of gunshows anymore.

Yup. You didn't miss much. Gunshows aren't what they used to be.

I was expecting a much bigger show, mildly disappointed. Since I had to drive to the "cities" anyway, I thought I'd go. Only deal I found was a Weaver K4-60B for $30.00. One table did have two Kel Tec P3AT's for around $220.00. Wish they fit my hand.

I've been to several of the MN Weapons Collector shows and been mildly disappointed. Hart Bros. Weaponry usually has some decent selection on their tables, but a lot of the other tables seem like they just have a lot of low-end Taurus stuff or some pretty beat guns at high prices.

I guess its a good place to go if you want a de-luxe AR type rifle or are looking for some collectable militaria.

There was a guy at last December's Riverplace show with a ton of magazines, but I haven't seen him at the subsequent shows I've been to.

I've had the same feeling the last few shows that I was at. It's all starting to look the same. And here I thought that I was just getting either too picky or jaded.

I had the same feeling for a few years. I would rather save the money for range time.

After awhile they do all start to look alike.

For collectable militaria they CAN be pretty good, which is my area of interest and if you want the MOTHER of all collectable (and shootable) militaria don't miss the Knob Creek machine gun shoot! It comes with the largest heavy weapons and militaria market I've ever seen and it's the loudest too; with continuous (on the hour, lasting for about 30 mins) full auto fire with minigun gusts!

The next one is the 14-16th of this month!
