I just finished reading (and thoroughly enjoying) Stephen Hunter's Point of Impact. Made me want to rush out and get myself a pre-'64 Winchester 70, but I settled for a Ruger Mini 14 instead. As Bob Lee Swagger points out: "No such thing as enough guns."

The movie Shooter left out quite a lot, didn't it?

So which of his novels should I try next?

So far all of his books that have read have been good. I just reread one called "Dirty White Boys" and it is a real mover. Real bad guys, and a tough hero....lots of gun related stuff. "Black Light" is the story of Bob Lee's father, and that was ok too. Enjoy!!

I like the Earl Swagger stories better. Hot Springs err springs to mind. Of course, someone quoted Pale Horse Coming the other day so I'm re-re-reading it now.

Were the Earl Swagger stories written in this order?
