Hitting those 16 oz propane tanks with 50 BMG Incendiary rounds is always fun; just don't do it up close because sometimes they take off like a rocket!

When I was young my dad shot a leaky 10 gallon/pound tank and it was really showy. He had another one with a balky valve and he tried it again and nothing happened. the next round was an old tracer in the 06.


well we learned what a fuel air bomb was like that day.


The fifteen or so seconds between first shot and second shot allowed the gas to escape and mix with Oxygen, when the tracer came thru and ignited that gas air mix, the blast got the neighbors to calling the sheriffs office. we had no windows left in the side of the trailer that was facing the "range" and we never found that second tank
