Kinda saw that one coming. My takeaway: "Don't shoot nice little kids in head." I don't know that I needed a video to pick up on that; I don't think it's part of the advanced course. |

"Stop the Bullets, Kill the gun" isn't that advocating violence? |

Anybody else notice they put the watermelon up just before the little black kid? Coincidence? Freudian subconscious in action? |

OK, so I did a little research. The ad was done by a famous UK-based advertising firm for showing on terrestrial and cable channels in Britain. It was commissioned as a public information ad by a hiphop radio station - Choice FM. I'd imagine that any wannabe gangsta in the UK will just see this as more encouragement to go out and buy a gun. Comments by the ad's creator(s) can be found below. http://creativity-online.com/?action=ne ... f_the_week Oh, and the soundtrack is Casta Diva composed by Bellini. And the caliber of the firearm used is, apparently, a surprisingly modest .22. I am surprised to see it unzipping a watermelon, but those more knowledgeable than I are welcome to correct me. |

It did look like a big bullet. But the people who made the film seemed to think that it was a .22, and I figured they ought to know. Of course, I should have known better. |

I guess that I don't quite trust anti-gun people to stick to facts and actual information, especially on the internet................. but then again, what do I know - I'm on the internet............... . |

Greg wrote: Nice film though! The lengthwise traverse of the water bottle and the watermelon were fantastic images. The whole series of impacts was rather good. |
