Kind of a reverse drive-by. despite the headline. The victim was in a car, the shooters standing in front of a house.

Idiots.

MONTEVIDEO, Minn. (AP) - Two Montevideo men are accused of shooting at another man as he drove by their home.

Chippewa County Attorney Dwayne Knudsen says 43-year-old Marco Chavez and 18-year-old Jesus Guttierez are charged with attempted second-degree murder and other charges.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday. Witnesses say both men fired several shots with a pistol and shotgun as the victim drove by. The driver of the car wasn't injured but his car sustained damage to a window and the trunk.

Police believe the shooting was the culmination of a fued between two groups of people which began after a fight at a company Christmas party.

Chavez and Guttierrez appeared in court yesterday.

Is there a big gang problem in Montevideo? Or was it just a couple of idiots who work together?

Matt:

Are you originally from Monte? I grew up just down-river; Granite Falls. One of my sisters is in your town
