That person should be banned from owning guns, or touching one obviously. Not that it would have any effect.

The right wingers somehow associate idiots like that with the rest of us who know better.

If I was that lady I would have beat his ass with my Red Swingline.

Watch more closely.

This is a straightforward case of self defense.

That filing cabinet clearly presented an immediate threat of death or grave bodily harm.

This is the second time this morning I've thought, "it's a darn shame there's no sound track on this video."

Many years ago, I walked into Frontiersman and was looking around. At the counter was kid asking all kinds of Dumbass questions regarding stuff and the guy (he left a long time ago, but he was a great big guy who was really good to work with) was having a hard time not telling the kid to get a life. Another kid was walking around handling all sorts of shot guns, and spending a lot of time racking actions, breaking open all the SXS and OU's and in general futzing about. The kid playing with the shotguns just walked behind the other kid and tapped him and then walked out.

I walked up and started to talk to the counter guy when someone else showed up to pick up a gun from layaway. I walked back to the shotguns and they had pretty nice Ithaca pump on the rack. I tapped the slide release and just took the usual, almost perfunctory, check of the chamber and instead of nice dark blue, there was bright brass. I nearly froze. I walked over to the counter and said " I think you have a problem" and racked open the action. His mouth just dropped as the hi base shell dropped on the counter. He told the one customer to stay where he was, and locked the door, then he and I cleared every shot gun in the place, we found 9 more loaded guns and two empty five round sleeves of 00 buck. Thats what the kid who was playing with the guns was doing, and why the kid at the counter was making such outlandish comments and questions. I believe the kids were caught because they had a van or truck with some lettering on it and the security cams filmed it.

I don't even know what to say to a story like that except WTF??!?!?!

I can't fathom what goes through people's minds to make them do something like that.

With that kind of trigger discipline...or lack thereof, actually...if we can get the guy to Mexican carry he'll solve that problem for us.
