I can't vouch for the size of the sign or typeface but this is definitely more than 6 ft above the floor.

MN Statute 624.714 subd. 17 ii

(2) "Prominently" means readily visible and within four feet laterally of the entrance with the
bottom of the sign at a height of four to six feet above the floor.

I was there today and found one gate that wasn't posted. It was the first time in 10+ years that I've been there and I'm good now for another 10years. If I see another "We take Lady Visa & Master Card" sign I'm going to puke. It was not the same RenFest that I recall from years ago. Didn't they used to have much better jousting than they do now? Even the kids got bored with that today.

Still, the kids had fun and we may go again next year. The favorites were Puke & Snot, The Danger Committee, and this bungie jumping trampoline thing.

I thought Puke died (or was it Snot?). Did they find someone else to take his place?

Tom Snot died but they have a replacement. He was pretty good. I didn't even realize it was a new guy until they end when Ralph Puke mentioned it.

I went last year but not this year. Wifes not working so it wasn't on the agenda. I don't recall seeing a sign last year about guns, but I think I saw one relating to edged weapons or something like that. Can't have inebriated people sword fighting. We did see one guy wantting to joust but had a little too much "spirits". He could barely stand up up idiot. He wanted to joust for real because he figured he was better than everyone else.
