I recieved no reply from my email to them so I'm going to just pack up a receipt copy and a brief message and send it via snail mail.

I just called one of National Camera's locations and talked about purchasing a digital SLR with an "upgrade" lens -- about $1300. The salesman was very enthusiastic (And I really am getting that camera this year, wife willing).
When I got to the end, I asked if they still had the silly signs up. He said yes, and I politely explained that I'd reluctantly take my business elsewhere.
"I understand," he said. "I have a permit too."
I asked him to make sure to communicate to management that another large sale had been lost to the silly signs. He said he's make sure.

Hit them where they live-
Order your camera from B&H Photo in Manhattan, or at least get a price quote- you'll likely save a couple hundred bucks, and then show the management of National Camera your reciept or quote.
Let them know that you took your business to one of their arch rivals because of that silly sign on the front of the building.
At the very least you may get them to budge on the price of their camera, if you still want to give a "no guns" business any of your money.

I have a bit of a knack for noticing things like that... Drives my wife nuts the way I insist on backing up the DVD a few seconds here and there to point out the lack of continuity in scenes... Like how a glass of water in a movie scene can keep on changing from full to half-full between perspective changes within the scene...
Hope that same observation skill can continue to keep me out of the dreaded condition Red...

...... On an aside, My wife and I watched the entire season one of "24" this past week... I noticed that when Agent Jack Bauer fired his weapon, you could distictly hear the mechanics of his pistol cycling (hammer strike, slide going back, slide going forward)... Something I've either never noticed before in real life, or something that they lay into the soundtrack for dramatic effect????

Most gun fire is dubbed in, at least in the movies.
