I know that this is up here already somewhere - but something new that I noticed there - Nifty tin signs that are completely non-compliant 7' off of the ground
I was forced to go there - the wife made me do it. I open carried.....
Nobody noticed.

Yeah right...
they pissed me off once really badly. I basically hate COSTCO - but the problem is that I like some of the stuff that they sell and you cannot get it anywhere else.

I'm guessing it wasn't an AK and a dozen spare mags, but I've been wrong before. Pinnacle saves that for BPK Walmart.

You need the AK when you visit BPK Walmart!

I was at the Costco in Coon Rapids recently, and it's not posted at all. I was looking carefully and saw no signs.

I too noticed the signs were down in Costco CR, I find great joy in this as I had a ongoing Email conversation with a PR mouthpiece from the company over their posting.

No signs at the EP location. I carry (not open) at least once a week there.

Yeah there are no signs at any of the other locations - SLP seems to be the only one here in town that is posted.
It is unfortunate that COSTCO's politics suck - I truly like to shop there and it burns my ass to do so especially after what happened there a year ago with me and the kid.
Took me a year to go back in there.

macphisto wrote: What happened at Costco with you and the kid, Pinner? I used search, Costco, Pinnacle and found this: http://www.twincitiescarry.com/forum/vi ... o&start=30the relevant quote is: Pinnacle wrote: I love the products that they carry at Costco - I truly do and I can appreciate them wanting to post as it is their perogative to do so under the law however meaningless that it is.
BUT
Last December I was in the SLP Costco and was standing at the service desk returning something that I bought that broke within a week - my little one was with me and this kid that worked there was running one of those large flat carts stacked way too high - my little one was directly on my six within a foot of me -
HE RAN HER OVER WITH THE CART....
Now anyone that knows me knows full well what happens when you mess with the kid... She is screaming on the floor with this idiot trying to force the cart over her - I grabbed the cart and gave it a hell of a shove at the same time YELLING STOP at him - i pulled her off of the floor to check her out and this moron comes over and stares at me - kid crying bloody murder - she was hurt not injured nailed her in the shins pretty good with some bruises....
Now keeping in mind that this place was packed with holiday shoppers - this was becoming quite the scene. I looked this moron in the eyes and said something to the effect of - I have never met someone so freaking stupid in my entire life and I added - you had better get away from me right now - he then realized what he had done and started off on some half assed appology - I told him that I was not interested in speaking with him at the moment...
Manager rolls up PRONTO and asked me what happened - I told her that I was not interested in speaking with her either until I was sure that the kid was OK...
Kid pushing the cart comes over and says: Well msiter she shouldn't have been standing there - Well - guess what happened next in front of about 100 people.
Things got worse.... Really really worse...
Manager rolled her eyes and said audibly - "oh shit... "
I went off...
SO moral of the story is this - Costco will not get another DIME of my hard earned cash EVER.
they sent me a $200 gift card for my trouble - I sent it back to them.....
