By which I mean: Isn't it true that in most states with newly passed shall-issue laws, there's a flurry of businesses posting signs banning guns, followed by a gradual decline in their number?
The anti-gunners usually manage to get people worked up to the point that they really do expect gunfire to break out after the law's passage, and when it doesn't, those business owners who keep the signs up are only the ones who have hated guns all along. And their numbers are not that large.
At least, these are impressions I have formed.

After almost 50 years, there are NO anti-carry signs in Seattle.
300,000 permit holders, though.
