Anyone ever seen a regular homeowner posting his house to ban guns?

Brit, funny you should ask...

Living in the commie capitol of the metro (go Betty!), I have some neighbors that are really, really to the left. In addition to political lawn signs for every metrocrat, they also have one advocating their desire for higher taxes ("Willing to pay for a better MN") and--wait for it--a lawn sign ('03-'05 ish) that "Bans guns anywhere near me".

I gather that since it's a private home (single family, owner occupied) that it constitutes lawful notice.

They're very nice people and decent neighbors.

Wouldn't it be almost worth the look on their face to walk by on the sidewalk and wave while open carrying?

If you did know such a person, dare them to back up their belief by putting a lawn sign similar to this in front of their house:

A couple of years ago there were a few houses in my area with "Repeal Conceal" signs in their front yards. Not quite postings, but pretty much indicates guns aren't welcome, and that they probably don't have any. The signs are all gone now.

There is a gal that comes into my work with a bumper sticker that says "Repeal Conceal" on it.

Every time it comes in I want to peel it off. I've thought about open carrying instead.

I think I Will be talking to my boss about a "Guns Welcome Here" sign instead. See if I can work a discount for those of you in the Edina area looking for reasonable Automotive Repairs. We may loose a couple of our Hippy Liberal customers, but I doubt it.

I have a very liberal lady friend, married to a Conserative man. When she found out I was carrying, She asked me not to carry in her house again. She said to consider her house "Posted" with an "Invisible" sign. I wonder if that is anything like an Invisible dog fence.
30+ years ago when she was Expecting, She then told me her Kids would never be allowed to play with toy guns. About 8 years later I noted a toy gun on the floor. I asked her Husband about the toy gun and he said " Funny thing about guns, If the kids don't have them they just pick up a Stick and go Bang Bang". Her children now are very Anti gun, due to Mom's influence. Dad Still has a .22 rifle in the closet.
I will ignore the subject completely next time I'm there.

Ron White is absolutely correct:

"You can't fix stupid".

Sadly.
