I wonder if this would work for employees if the company policy could be changed.

Sure it would -

Petition for a change in company policy - if the employer is not amicable to the change - you could be looking for a new job.

I have a letter that I may out to local retailers with signage - Stating something like - "by the act of banning weapons on your business premises - you guarantee my safety and the safety of others from an act of Violence 100% - in doing such you have acted affirmatively to deny my rights and the rights of others to the right of self defense."

Wouldn't a note to the Bloomington Police about the MOA do the trick and put pressure on them to remove the meaningless signs.

There's no law against meaningless signs.

Interesting!!!!

It's interesting that they say:

"Guns are banned on these premises"

under the heading:

"Violations of the Law"

Soo, if a person has a p2c, no problem, right? :?

Not to mention the whole thing about landlords posting.

It would seem so. Any ambiguities should be construed against the drafter of the private "rule."

Now, I have to ask, is it really necessary to prohibit criminal acts? sheesh   ( I know, lots of places do this, but really....)

I suppose it helps some of us to be reminded from time to time that it's illegal to break the law.

As Ron White says, "You can't fix stupid".
