Bar results get posted in early Oct.
No name change any time soon -- I'll be in training for many years.

Are you only planning to practice law in MN? How different are the BAR examines from state to state?

Yes, assuming I passed the bar I'll only practice in MN. Each state sets its own requirements for their respective bar exams, some are easier than others. Kind of like the carry laws.

In an attempt to keep this thread on topic: the MN bar exam was only held in the MPLS Convention Center this year due to the RNC. I assume it'll be back in St. Paul next year. Hopefully I won't be there to try again.
