Denny's Restaraunt in Coon Rapids appears to be properly posted.

Funny thing though- the Sherrif that was there eating breakfast was in violation of their rules

Ah, but that's different...he's carrying legally, you see...and he's trained...and most importantly, he's not dangerous...

Yes...it's because they're trained, y'see, and they're not dangerous...

Funny that a nice place like the Cheesecake Factory is not posted, but a filth-ridden dive like Dennys puts up a sign. Maybe they figure criminals are their primary clientele?

I mentioned this when we were there- the sign is partially covered by the decorative window grid stick thinger that they have. Assuming the sign itself is the minimum square inches required, does that loss of a couple square inches make it improperly posted? I said it to be a silly but then I started wondering if it was actually true at all.

That's interesting, and certainly not the case with all Denny's since 25 to 40 of us gather monthly at the 2nd Saturday north breakfast at Denny's in Maplewood (not a dive, by the way!) and there may be one or two guns artfully concealed among us. No posting anywhere in sight. It must vary by restaurant.

At least two are on me when we are there. It is the safest place in the state.

The "conspicuous" sign has to be "readily visible" as well as in the proper location, of proper size, and in black print on a bright background, etc.
