Post subject:  Minnesota Personal Protection Instructors (MNPPI) approved

Evening all,

Well, I never did get a call or email back from Jeff after I submitted the material he requested clarification on (legal updates for instructors)...but yes - I took the time to become certified, and yes, the system works! I'm pleased to annouce the approval of Minnesota Personal Protection Instructors, or MNPPI.

The usual disclosure: I went through training with Andrew's original MADFI instructor group, and am still grateful for the opportunity to have worked with a great group of intelligent local firearm enthusiasts. There's no intent to compete with the MADFIs and AACFIs out there; this started more as an excercise in working through the current DPS process, and expanding my knowledge further in regards to training. Full details around training, instructor recruiting/training, etc are in the works...currently we're just "approved."
