Post subject:  REJ Firearms Training Certified by the DPS

My corporation's firearms training division http://rejfirearmstraining.com was recently approved by the MN BCA as an organization approved to train instuctors under the Personal Protection Act.

Given the changes in the recent state election this seemed a prudent course of action. I do not plan to certify anyone who has not completed the gold standard of firearms traing (IMHO), i.e. currently Certified in Basic Pistol and Personal Protection in the Home and/or Outside the Home by the NRA. I also would want to personally know anyone I certify.

I am currently certified by MADFI, wish them continued success and have no intention of competing with them or anyone. I have already certified one instructor and doubt that I'll certify more than two or three more instructors.

BTW the BCA approved my application 6 days after they received it. BCA Agent Jeff Luther was helpful and very professional, which is what others had told me to expect from Jeff.
