Apparently, I'll be on the WCCO radio Midday show -- AM 830 -- at just about 11:09 this morning; the producer called last night. I'll be talking about self-defense and defense of dwelling.

Break a leg! (or at least some misconceptions)
A little homework for you before the show: It seems like the media is trying to paint the old guy as a kook who was lying (laying?) in wait for the kid. And that the kid could hardly be blamed for his curiosity in poking around what he thought was an abandoned house.
Go up to the thread and find the link to the kid's MySpace page to see what sort of mischief he was into.

(Err... just to be clear: thank you; assuming that I've thought something through would have been a mistake.)
I'm not sure we're going to get into anything other than the legality of it; but I'll try to get into what makes sense to do as well as what's lawful.

Anyone have a copy of the call in show?
I would love to listen to it like the last time.

That was very good, no a GREAT interview, Joel.
I haven't listened to WCCO radio for about 28 years. Back then during the noon break they would report on the day's prices for corn and pork bellies. As far as I know they still do.
Anyway, one of the hosts ( I think there were two) was way into your camp when she found about your home invasion experience. She was totally with you on self defence of the home.
I only tuned in for your interview, then I promptly switched channels. And since I don't know the programing and have no idea of the slant of the hosts I have a question. Are most of the listeners still the of the Liberal persuasion?
