Post subject:  Coffee Klatsch --> 1st Sunday of the Month!!! 2:00PM

Enough talk about a get together, time to actually do it.

We have three gun ranges in the metro that I know of and my plan is to meet and have coffee close to one of them each month. I hope to rotate the location so people get a break from having to drive.

First Meeting:

February 5th.

J's Restaurant
2740 93rd Ave NE
Blaine, MN 55449

This is just down the road from Bill' in Circle Pines so we can hit the range if you feel like it. Hope to see a lot of you there.

I am open to suggestions for places to meet that are close to the ranges.

What time were you thinking of being there?

EDIT: wow, was that 2pm there before? I must be blind, or I was in no mood to completely read a subject line.

I would love to come, but I could never make it on a Sunday...the drive back after f un and festivities would be too late for me. Perhaps if this gets established, you can rotate weekend days/times etc.

Post subject:  Date and time changed to Feb 12th at 1:00PM

Having just looked at the calendar again I realized that the 5th is Superbowl Sunday. Sitting in a coffee shop just doesn't sound like as much fun when you put it up agains the Super Bowl.

So.... I am going to change this meeting of the carry elite to Sunday, February 12th. And change the time to 1:00 pm.

Ok. So date changed to the 12th because I am an idiot.
Time change to 1:00 because Bill's North is a very popular place on Sundays and I want to leave a little room if we have to wait.

Hope to see a lot of you there, if you can make it, drop me a message so I can make sure the retaurant can accomodate us.

Post subject:  The best laid plans....

I am sorry to say that I will not be able to attend the Coffee Klasch on Sunday. Due to the passing of a very dear friend I will not be available. Please feel free to attend if you have already made plans to be there. I don't have to be there for everyone to attend. I will post soon and schedule for March. Again, my apologies for the short notice.

I am really glad you asked. I plan on this Sunday but am still looking for a place to meet around Bill's Robinsdale Location. Anyone have a favorite restaurant nearby?

Sorry for the late update.

This place is literally next door to Bill's -- and they took down their "Bans Guns" sign. :)

Good Reubens, too!

Andrew, I have come to respect your opinion. If you say they have good reubens, then I say lets eat!

I expect to see a crowd. 2:00 Sunday the 5th. at the Breakaway Bar and Grill. Bill's for range time if you are so inclined.

And since it just dawned on me, I will be wearing a Guiness hat, blue denim shirt. I have a goatee and these days I am running more on the grey side than ther brown.

Hi all! Big thanks to Andrew, David, Pakrat for attending. Coffee and conversation was great. Andrew and I shared a lane at Bill's. I learned something very important shooting with Andrew. 1. He is a good shot with his Ruger P95. A very good shot. 2. Don't shoot his 22.

It must have been a good time, I wore the skin off of my trigger finger! Look forward to meeting more of you next month in Burnsville.
