Ahlman's Shooters Round-up is this weekend Saturday and Sunday (Aug 26 &27)

10 AM to 5 PM

About 1 hour south of the metro, west of Faribault, MN on Hwy. 60 at Morristown.

Map can be found at Ahlman's website http://www.ahlmans.com

phone # 507-685-4243

Cost $5

This is a excellent chance to try out a lot of manufacturer's guns (mainly handguns). You pay for ammo only. Their are over 100 exibits. You can actually shoot full auto sub-machine guns, full auto heavy machine guns, 50 BMG rifles and if you want a cannon. Fantastic cowboy action stages, mountain man rendesvous, hunting dog displays and sale on ammo.

Plan on spending at least 1/2 day there.

Thanks for posting this. I was trying to find out when it was, but they haven't updated their website.

Nope - that's not the tank, but in checking with the guy from Princeton - he is going to have his tank there.

I don't know how fun it is. I rode in it a few years back. It's very loud, very confined, uncomfortable and jarring. And, you can't see a damn thing through the range finder.

It's worth it to do it once, I suppose. He says this tank is about half as loud as a real one since he replaced the engines.

I remember sitting in an Abrahms A2 in K-town at the repair depot. they are cool tanks. It was too bad they wouldn't let me take her out for a spin. :(

I am pretty sure that's a Sheridan tank, retired after the First Gulf War. I wonder where they got that at?
