We've recently joined this site, and since I saw the posting for Streicher's Days from last year, I thought I would provide a little info about it this year. It is actually today and tomorrow, (August 16 &17). Here is the link for full information:
http://www.streichers.com/streichersdays
We have more vendors this year, and they are offering special pricing on some of their gear. Unfortunately, we don't have the Mobile Shooting Range. Famous Dave's is catering the food, and although it is only "Free" for public safety professionals, you can print this image and get the meal for $1
Hope you can make it and sorry about the late notice.

Thanks for the invitation!
(and the $1.00 meal ticket) - I don't have a first responder/Vol. firefighter badge to go along with my permit to carry badge
I've been meaning to get back in the store.

Hmmm....
1. As a err, several-ways-certified firearms instructor, I think that makes me a "public safety professional" . . .
2. Then again, I hate rules lawyering, so I try not to do it,
3. I can afford a buck for lunch pretty easy
4. Not sure I can afford the time.
To whoever goes: have a great time, and perhaps I'll see some of you there, if I end up going.
I'll be the middle-aged white guy in tac pants.

I sense that there are more than a few of us here. (sans the tac pants)

We're still here until 6pm tonight and then back tomorrow, the 17th from 8:00am until 6pm. A lot of the closeout items are still here, and we have some pretty good deal on the holsters:
$5-$10 off Safariland holsters
$5-$10 off select Bianchi Holsters
20% off all BlackHawk (including the Serpa)
20% off all 5.11 Tactical
lots of other deals
It's in-store only (sorry, that is the deal we made with our vendors), but if anyone come by, I think you'll find it worth the time.

If so -- and since I don't think they exist, yet, I doubt it -- I got dibs on the second one.
(That said, I discovered that, to my surprise, my Mitch Rosen J-Frame ARG actually fits the SP101.)

Great event. Thank you for the lunch. I might need to come back Friday for the DPMS RFA2-AP4A Panther AP4. Very nice.
The food is very good.

I went and was spotted by a fellow Glocktalk user, got myself a clearance bore snake and some goodies out of the DPMS trailer.
