Due to the poor weather forecast for April 26th...including freezing rain/snow, it seemed prudent to cancel today rather than have people drive from the Cities and be at risk on the road.
Our next event will be May 25th, and we'll regroup and post the details as soon as finalized.
Of course, now that it is cancelled, the weather should be great!
Such is life....in Minnesota....

Right now the NOAA is forecasting 4-6 inches of snow today and tonight. Welcome to the next ice age.
Looking forward to the 25th.

We're hearty folks! We can handle it. A little snow never hurt anyone...

In the serious vein, it was a difficult decision to cancel as you are right...a little snow is not that big a deal, particularly when the class stuff would be indoors. But...bottom line was we are concerned about the travel and roads that people would be on early Saturday to make it to the first class session; it just seemed too risky

Oh, here is the forecast and why we cancelled:
... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to
7 am CDT Saturday...
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter
Storm Warning... which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to
7 am CDT Saturday.
Expect snow heavy at times later this afternoon and tonight
leaving a swath of 6 to 12 inches across the area. North
winds gusting over 30 mph will result in plenty of blowing
and drifting snow reducing visibility to under one half
mile at times.
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible. ---

I completely understand, but that doesn't mean I'm not just a little disappointed. Can I reserve two spots in the May class now?

Yes, just contact Jerry45 from this forum. As of today we are re-evaluating our seminars for that date. For sure we will have the "Surviving a Knife Attack" seminar and at least one other.

Oh hell yes I'll sign up for that one as well. I'm a big fan of knives, and carry one daily both as a tool, and a defensive weapon. Knowing better how to defend myself from a knife attack sounds fantastic. Will pricing be the same as was planned for tomorrow's class?
