I'm gonna be moving at the end of Feb. and I'll need to get a 'duplicate' CDL that shows my new address (due to my HazMat endorsement).
My question is, will the 'yellow copy' of my renewal (along with a photocopy of my actual license which expires in 2012), work for a "accurate photocopy of the applicant's current drivers license" or do I have to wait until my new 'hard card' arrives before applying for my PTC?
Thanks.

Call your sheriff and see what they say. That is the only good way to know and find out who you talked to just in case.

Yea, call the sheriff that you will be applying with. The fact that you're already a Minnesota resident may help you out. If you were coming in from out of state, you would most likely have to wait for the plastic card.

Thanks guys!
I just got off the phone with the Brown County SO and they said that the copy that I get from the DMV, along with my current CDL 'hard card' would be just fine.
Thanks again.
