They would see that by running your plates/license. If you're clean, Odds are they won't mention your permit. You're worried about nothing

Perhaps a better and more appropriate system might be to inform an officer if the drive has any convictions for violent offenses. My carrying a gun under a permit is of no consequence or danger to them. We are the good guys and gals remember.

Possibly a system that will inform me if the officer has had any violence issues that had to be dealt with; it's all about my sense of safety.

In as much as I cherish Liberty I believe that government has access to way more information than they need (revisit my sig line).

A friend of mine was pulled over in his then home state (FL). Perfectly clean record. Never a ticket, never arrested.. The cop completely emptied his car, while he was cuffed and stuffed in the back of his squad. The cop even called for backup and had multiple officers pulling the seats out and setting them on the side of the road.

As he uncuffed my friend, showing him the fact his car was completely disassembled, he mentioned "We don't like your kind around here.. stay away.." then pointed at the rainbow flag on the back of my friend car.

Yeah. A cops personal issues/beliefs/thoughts/feelings about a subject, whether it be homosexuals or gun permit holders, would never get in the way of how a cop handles a stop.

Cops don't always act as professionals. I wouldn't want a cop to have an extra reason to hasle me, or to cuff and stuff me because he doesn't like permit holders..
