Are there any laws in MN about printing while carrying?

Nope. Since we can open carry, it would be kinda silly if there was.

That's what I figured. I just wanted to ask the pros here.

You can also use cursive while carrying too.

Not a problem; perfectly fine question. After all, there are silly laws.

Would you perchance happen to know which among them are not silly? :|

Yeah but if you have to actually use the gun they are going to wonder why you didn't use the stapler first as a less than lethal choice...

P.S. Argh, the forum did it again.. I go to submit my reply and it says I'm not logged in (even though it shows me logged in) and makes me log in again and then I have to retype the post as it has been lost. :bang:

The one and only time I've been at Streichers, I couldn't believe how much the other customers were printing. Maybe they were cops... maybe not. Either way, they sucked at concealing their handgun.

I bet it wasn't so much about "sucking at concealing their handgun" as much as it was they weren't trying to.

Please do NOT print and drive. What if you got a paper jam?

Think of the children.

Bingo!

I fall into that category from time to time...especially if I'm just wearing shorts and a T-shirt.

Especially at Streichers. Heck, they've let me unload and try out holsters right in the middle of the store (I asked first, mind you!).

Usually I am offended by this basic question, because on some minor topics that are not of interest to student, they may not pay attention, therefore miss what an instructor might consider, and rightfully so, important information.

But was the topic of Minnesota law and concealment even discussed in your permit class ????

It was but I don't remember him saying anything about the legality of printing. It was a lot of info to absorb for me so I could have just forgotten. That's why when I originally started coming here I asked joelr how much it would be to audit his class, I just wanted more information and it seems like he really goes into the law portions of it, but I had just taken my class and I couldn't afford it.

ETA: I definitely was interested in everything he was saying, there was a lot of stuff covered. I just don't remember if he did or not. I thought it was a good class, but that was my only experience so far so I have nothing to compare it too. I didn't get to put any of it to use because I had to wait like 3 months just to get my permit. I should have been reading more on it then, but I really didn't know what questions to ask. It was all so new to me and I learned a hell of a lot but I can guarantee that I forgot some of what he said along with pretty much anyone else who has taken their first class. I am not a perfect student, but I am trying to gain as much info as I can now that I have read a ton of stuff on these boards and finally have some questions.
