Is this not the stuff that gets discussed to endless lengths.

-A permit holder pulls a gun when trapped and fears for himself and his family
The "alleged attacker" pulls a gun and of coarse the permit holder shoots at the threat.
Two years later the permit holder pleads guilty to reckless discharge of a firearm-

And now there is no discussion on the matter what so ever ??
And posts about it get deleted.

Seems to me the out come of this scenario is one of the most important discussions we could have.

Have we been asked not to discuss this ?
Did I miss a thread about this ?
I fear providing any more details will get this post deleted.

Thanks, this is a great site by the way.

I'll wait for management's call on how much they want said (there are some very real legal things here, especially since sentencing has not happened yet), but nothing has been deleted. I swear.

You're welcome; I think so, too, but, then again, I would . . .

There's reasons why I'm not up for a lot of public discussion about the specifics of the case; I'll go into those some other time.

As to what to do after having to take a gun out for serious, discussion of that is, in the strong opinion of the management, exactly what you say it is: one of the most important discussions we could have.
