+1 I agree 99.9% of the time I just want to be on my way without any chitchat

I agree but I unfortunately have to leave winning hearts and minds to my off time (which lately isn't much time at all).

But for unmarried guys such as myself, it's not such a bad idea. [/chauvinisism] 8)

I do, sometimes -- like to talk to strangers, that is. But I figure that the Hawaiian shirts are enough conversation starters. My older daughter disagrees, and really hated the time that the jaw-droppingly gorgeous twenty-something black woman came up and started petting the shirt when we were shopping at Target. I will confess that I didn't mind that, well, at all. I'm actually kind of fond of jaw-droppingly gorgeous young women, all in all.

Bravo. :D

Good to see people are not afraid to try open carry on occassion. I do teach to primarily conceal, but it can be fun chatting with people and checking out reactions! Win hearts, win minds.

I'd be inspired to go out OC right now except that I'm on a Naval base in Japan!
No carry in Japan.
No carry on military bases. (kinda sucks if you own guns but can't keep them around :( )
