Yup. The best predictor, I think, of a nonfelon status is having had two parents in the home. (It's also the best one for success in school, I'm told.)

Which doesn't mean that all single-parent kids become criminals, but it does mean they're at greater risk.

How to solve the problem? I wish I knew.

Well, yeah, it would, assuming somebody wants to have Srigs get worked to death and go bankrupt.

On the other hand, a free holster to a winner of some contest or other would be kinda neat, and Srigs doesn't have to pay for that; I'll buy the holster, at his standard rates.
