How much wood could a woodchuck chuck … if the woodchuck was a deputy sheriff?

Need to take the DNR's Hunter Safety course?

What DO they teach at the P.O.S.T. Board approved "skills training" programs in community colleges???

In too many cases: bad attitudes, to people who are never going to get badges. There's 10K openings every year; there's 100K people passing Skills.

Ouch. While I suspect that's true, it doesn't sound good.

I'm going in May of 2011 and I plan to not be taught any bad attitude, and I expect to get a badge.

Maybe it'll be better for me since I'm a good bit older than the average.

Good. The most important qualification a cop can have is that he/she be able to funtion as a grownup. (IMHO) Your age makes that more likely. :D
