Ok so I'm a noobie and I'm looking to clear up a question that came to mind. I go to Fairview Riverside Hospital one evening a week and I'm curious as to if I am legally allowed to carry. I understand that the law states I can not carry in a state hospital, but I believe that Fairview is private, correct? The second issue that I have is that this particular Fairview is associated to the Univeristy of Minnesota, but is it considered University property?

Why would you think that?

State correctional facilities or state hospitals and grounds (MN Statute 243.55)

I assume that Fairview is not considered a state hospital.

Thanks. I assume that Fairview is not a state hospital. Regarding the second issue and it's connection to the university of Minnesota, any info on that? Or is there anyone who carries when they visit this particular hospital.
Thanks!

I carried there every day for 6 weeks when my son was in the NICU. Concealed is Concealed... If you want a fight, carry open, but for me at least, there were more important things to deal with at that time.

And U of M rules (if they apply there) only apply to you if you're a student or University employee.
