Jason Lewis...pretty cool...

---------------------------
Good Afternoon Minnesota,

I am happy to announce that Jason Lewis from KTLK radio (100.3 FM) will
be our speaker at the annual GOCRA banquet on Saturday April 21st. For
those of you who listen to Jason’s show, you already know that Jason
has a lot to say about some of the decisions our elected officials are
(or are not) making. Jason will address those attending the banquet about
his concerns for “The Status of (or Crisis In) Conservatism” and will
answer your questions following his remarks. If you have listened to his
show, you already know he is not afraid to say what he thinks and he
means what he says. If you haven’t listened to his show, please tune him
in at 100.3 FM from 5 – 7pm (4pm - 7pm beginning next Monday). His show
can also be heard on the web at
http://www.ktlkfm.com/pages/jlewispersonality.html.

We have added a new and easy way for you to register and pay
electronically for the banquet through the GOCRA's website. You can go to
http://www.mnccrn.org/GOCRA_Registration_2007.html click on the
“donate” button near the bottom of the form, and complete the information. If
you prefer, you can also download and print a registration form,
complete it and mail it along with your check. No matter how you choose to
register, you will need to download and print the registration form and
complete the information and bring it with you to the banquet for each
person attending, to take advantage of the express check in at the
banquet.

The social hour and check-in will begin at 5pm so please arrive early
and give yourself plenty of time to look over and bid on the silent
auction items before dinner. Our auction items list is growing and I can
tell you that we will have several great firearms up for auction again
this year. DPMS has generously contributed another rifle to the auction
this year and it is a highly desirable .308 caliber. AACFI has also
contributed CZ pistols similar to those we had last year. We will have
many other fun items up for your bid on both the silent auction and the
live auction.

If you have something interesting you would like to donate to the
auction, why not become a sponsor? We would welcome art work, jewelry items,
a certificate for your donated professional services, collectibles such
as coins, figurines, stamps, fishing and hunting gear, firearms,
ammunition and holsters, or one of a kind items that you are willing to part
with that someone else may enjoy. We would certainly like to have some
items that would appeal to the lady’s (a LadySmith for example – okay,
knicky knacky stuff too). For each donation of $250 in fair market
value, you will receive one banquet ticket (a $500 donation entitles you
to two tickets, and so on), a listing as a sponsor in the banquet
program, and our sincere appreciation. Please let Marty Wick at
mewick@msn.com know if you have items that you want to donate for the
silent or live auctions before April 1st, which is the deadline to
become a sponsor.

Please feel free to share this eBlast with your friends.

It’s about Liberty, Your Liberty!

If you received this eBlast from another gun owner friend, I invite you
to sign up to receive your own eBlast so you are guaranteed to get
every important notice about legislation that affects you, and notification
of all Gun Owners Civil Rights Alliance events in St. Paul and all
around the state. If you happen to know other responsible gun owners,
please share this eBlast with every one of them also. Our thousands of
supporters are diverse but we all share one thing in common, we want to
preserve all of our rights as gun owners.

Just follow this link and complete the information
http://www.mnccrn.org/ccrn_old/ccrn.html .

If every one of Minnesota’s 500,000 hunters and other gun owners who
perhaps do not hunt, were a sponsor of GOCRA, then no Bill should become
law that we did not support and no person should be elected to any
state office who did not deserve our “A” rating.

Although we have our friends on both sides of the isle, we also have
enemies in the legislature as well. They are very busy with their clever
attempts to take away your rights. If you add your voice to ours, we
can stop these very dangerous Bills from becoming law.
