At least we wouldn't have had to worry about anyone shooting back and more people getting hurt in a crossfire.
Quote: St. Cloud Tech student accused of threatening to bring gun to schoolhttp://www.twincities.com/allheadlines/ci_6065642A student at St. Cloud Tech High School is under arrest for allegedly threatening to bring a gun to school and shoot people. Witnesses say they heard the 17-year-old sophomore make the threat. The student did not have any guns on him when he was arrested yesterday. Police say the student is being held on suspicion of making terroristic threats. Extra patrols will be provided at the school today -- which is typical for the last few days of school.

Well that silly. He can't bring a gun because it is a "Gun Free" zone. Besides he is not old enough either. I am sure glad we have laws to keep us safe. Aren't you?

hammAR, that's actually true, many local PD's will not give anyone vacation time on the last-day-of school, or the day after. I know even in suburbs, there's always fights, kids acting stupid (like running into traffic to mess w/drivers), gang issues, etc. Been that way for years in/around Mpls.

Laws, signs, and catchy slogans. Keeping America safe, they are.
