OK I know I can carry in a statepark now, but what about parks like superior national forest of the BWCA or any of the other national forest parks in the state? YES or NO, the BWCA would be the one I'm most concerned about or at least am most interested in knowing the awnser. thanks for your time.

One-eye,
Guns are a no-no in National Parks, however they are ok in National Forests. The BWCA is not a National Park but Voyagers is and I'm not sure where the boundaries are or if they overlap.

I live in The Superior Nation Forest 1/4 mile from the BDUB. Concealed carry is legal inside and outside of the BDUB. Open carry always has been.

You should go on the BWCA website and see who is listed as the owning agency either the Forest Service or Park Service. If Park Service you can't and if it is Forest Service you can.

I have a cabin in Chippiwa NF and no issue for me! :)

The BWCA has many rules, but not carrying guns isn't one of them. According to the entrance lecture I've received many times.

Also, hunting is allowed in the BWCA. I've read many articles about deer and moose hunting in the BWCA journal. I've personally seen bear hunters in the BWCA.

I once met a couple guys bear hunting in the BWCA. At least one and I believe both were open carrying revolvers. They clearly enjoyed the discomfiture of the 'REI types' they ran across.
