I went to the Hennepin County’s permit office to my driver’s license number update on my carry permit.
The clerk or deputy was very polite, gave me a receipt and a copy of my old permit, said I could still carry with those documents and if I had any trouble they could call the office on the number listed on the receipt.
He said I should have my new permit in about 7 days.
My experience was a lot better that I had assumed it would be.
