The 2008 Spring show dates/times have been announced:

Friday, April 4 10A-8P
Saturday, April 5 10A-8P
Sunday, April 6 10A-5P

Bill's Gun Shop & Range
4080 W BROADWAY AVE
ROBBINSDALE, MN 55422

What is the Shooter Show? Can someone describe the event...who will be there? What happens? How much does it cost?

The Shooters Show is a semi-annual event held at Bill’s Gun Shop & Range in Robbinsdale. It’s our version of a “Gun Show”. We invite all of our manufacture reps to come and bring all of their product samples for display and use on the range. Attendance is free..

So we will have countless firearm manufactures here with their product. The deal is you can use the reps guns and the range for free, the only cost is the targets and ammo. This way you can shoot a large variety of different firearms, from handguns, shotguns, rifles and black guns, either for simple recreation or to assist in your purchasing decision.

During our show, we also offer sale pricing on all items related to the vendors that participate in our show. For example, we will once again have Springfield vault guns.

Don’t forget that we'll have 5 firearms and dozens of door prizes that included optics, cases and more to give away. Register using a kiosk at the show!

We will have some cool new guns this year, including the Microtech STG-556 (the "improved" AUG), Kimber Stainless Raptor, new FN guns ...

Ruger will also be here, hopefully with a LCP and a Charger to try out

Deals on DPMS 308s, Bushmaster M4s, two or three types of AK-47s, like new sales sample XDs - many under 400 bucks, Walther SP22s, M&P pistols .. and much more

New machine guns to shoot including a Bren

TDI is scheduled to be here with the amazing KRISS rifle. This is the first time that this firearm has been available to the general public anywhere.

We will also be test firing the C2 with Taser International on Saturday.

Is the KRISS the submachine gun that has what appears to be a patio block in front of the trigger guard, which amazingly reduces muzzle flip?

Ooo, ooo, can we bring our own targets?

Seriously, I'll be there at least one day of the show, and I promise I won't bring any family members for a demonstration of the taser. Seeing Anthony Bourdain get zapped on the Travel Channel was enough to convince me it hurts like hell.

I stopped in to catch the "early bird" grabs...picked up a refurbished SIG 229 with extra mag for $499. The line to shoot was 30 deep so good luck there, but some pretty good prices considering how Bill's is usually priced. Their XD vault gun display was packed.
