The LRA is hard to disarm. They are supplied and funded by certain religious interests in the Middle East & mostly serve to disrupt supply and humanitarian aid that might get to Southern Sudan via Uganda. It is reasonable to think of the LRA as the lowwer jaw and Darfur as the upper jaw and, yes, supposedly there are treaties but they don't mean squat. The teeth of the wolf are around Southern Sudan & the blood won't really stop flowwing until everybody from the one church is dead or money to kill them stops flowwing out of the Middle East.
I have been in the area where this is happening. In NW Uganda the people seemed to be getting pretty sick of it. Glad they are fighting back.
