Because I open carry, I find much lint and dirt gets into the mag well, barrel and behind the trigger. I use the cans of air and they work great. I then perform a full wipedown and relube about once per month. This is, of course, outside of any shooting I do. Then it gets a full clean.

Pretty much the same thing I do. If I have the chance, I prefer to put two mags through it after a detailed 'strip & clean', then 'punch the tube' with a patch wrapped around the bore brush.
