Being the straight-walled pistol reloader armed with carbide dies, I've always skipped case lubing as unncessary. After about tearing my shoulder off loading some new nickel .41 Mag brass yesterday, I gave some Hornady One-Shot a try. HOLY CRAP! What a difference!! I gave it a try on a dozen or so new cases and it was like I wasn't resizing at all, the reduction in effort was quite amazing. I've always felt a touch of stiffness in new nickel brass (a lot of .44 Special was the worst, worse than the same maker's .44 Mag brass), but these .41 Mag cases were awful. |

Mob - Here is what I do I take all of my cases in a shallow rubbermaid container - shoot em with One Shot - Stir - Shoot em again - let dry then reload - makes the 650 run smooth Hornady One shot is a dry wax that will not dingle up your powder and primers. It helps to start with clean cases..... |
