Sportsman's warehouse and Cabellas also have a large selection of equiptment available.Ammocraft in Hopkins has powder and bullets and can order any other equiptment, and Ron is a great guy to deal with.

Is the Wolf's Den still open in Hugo?

The Gunstop has the best selection in the 5 state area. Now, with that said there are some deals to be had at or through Cabelas. Bulk bullets from Cabelas are a good deal, and the shipping is based upon Dollar value vs actual wt. of the order. Sportsmans Warehouse is abou the only place to get Ramshot Powders in the state. They have their sales at times like in the spring that save 10 percent on merchandise. And, well Cabelas is always giving out 20 dollar coupons.

Remember that Leo Dywer fron Faribault casts lead bullets and that is down your direction.

But, if you want help, selection, and stuff like out of the Sinclair catalog there is no peer to the Gunstop. Call John up and ask for his catalog!

The Gunstop - John-Boy has every conceivable case and reloading die you could want in his store. In addition, he knows more about reloading than anybody else in the state who runs a business. The Wolf's Den in Hugo has a pretty good supply of bullets, cases, and powder, and they can offer some advice, but they're not really into it like John-Boy. The Sportsman's Wahrehouse has a good selection of components, but in general the people there don't know jack shit about serious reloading. Gander Mountain's stock of reloading components is so minimal as to be almost useless. If you want to handload 30-06 they MIGHT have the stuff you need. Cabela's has tons of components (still not the variety of John-Boy), but I've never bothered to ask them for advice, so I have no idea how educated they may be.

I will also add Jon is great, knows almost all there is to know about reloading and while a bit slow to warm to you, is a really really great guy.
and is worth the drive up.

I only added Ahlmans as i thought they were near you .

I buy my powder and primers at Wolf's Den, and my bullets at Pony Express.

Took the scenic route to Gunstop today. Everyone was correct, had a great time, learned alot of great information and come to find out John lives like 7 miles from me down here in the sticks.
I think my daughter petted the puppy so much it now has a bald spot and she said it looks just like mine.

both dog AND gun friendly, which makes it heaven for guys like me. Everybody in the GS lways wants to see Sasha, (particularly Larry) and if there's kids in the store they have a field day. Once a six year old boy sat down on the floor to pet Sasha, and she did what she was bred to do, which is to LIE ON TOP OF THE KID to keep it warm.

Here's a link to Sasha so I don't honk off the people in here that still have IBM AT's with the original 640 x 480 EGA screens....
