Does anyone have one of these? Good addition to your Dillon press or not?

I'm thinking about adding one to mine and just wondering if it's worth the money.

Yes, I have the roller handle on my 650 and given the volume I reload it is much easier on the hand. You can maintain a firm grip and the handle just turns on the arm as you cycle the rounds.

I'd never be with one. That and the 2 powder check alarm2 are very nice options to have.

Thanks. I'll put that on the list of things to upgrade.

When we had our Dillon "Buy at Wholesale" sale last month, we sold 6 550's and almost everyone opted for the roller handle. It is definitely more comfortable if you are spending several hours at the table. The other item that was an automatic was the "Strong Mount".

For those who took me up on buying wholesale - Thanks! Obviously I did not make a profit but I had a lot of fun as I sold 4 guns where I did make some "burger" money!

BTW, Dillon is increasing their prices on January 1st. The Dillon 550 that we sold for $265 (plus cal. conv., shipping and tax) is now going to be $395 (includes cal. conv.).
