I don't see a shotgun anywhere, so I assume you shot the bird with the pistol? :)

Looks great. I love Craisins.

Yea :( Like a dope I completely forgot to throw the mossy 500 in any of those pictures. It is plastic though, so you've seen one, you've seen 'em all.

I think the craisins work better in rice than fresh or frozen cranberries. Just throw them in when the water is boiling and they will hydrate right up.

let's see, 1 bird, 1 box of rice, 1 bag craisins, 1 onion, 1 entire bulb of garlic - yep, you got just about the right ratio there! (maybe need one more onion) (what can I say, I'm a garli-holic!)

and that looks like a tasty slice of pie too!

Are you sure that 2 oz of butter was enough?

Has never made duck before....so now she wants your recipe.

Also, she wants to know what the dessert was (recipe too)!

Duck:
Boil water. Add tbl spoon butter, two hands full of craisins.
add rice, reduce temp to low and cover
add onion, garlic, herbs if you want.
Cook rice 5-10 minutes less than normal.

Stuff duck (skin on) with rice, fill cassorole with duck then leftover rice.
put small pads of butter on duck's breasts (a butter bikini)
cook uncovered @ 375 for 30-40 minutes, check temp.
butcher (poorly in my case.)
plate food.
poor beer.

Chesecake:
Have sister-in-law watch your dog while on weekend vacation. Pay her $20 + $20 for food. Have her use almond extract instead of vanilla.
