Hi, I have already taken the Minnesota and Utah permit classes a few weeks ago with MN Pistol Class. I really enjoyed the class that I took and it was very informative but from what I have read is that JoelR is the man when it comes to this stuff. What I am wondering is does he allow people to sit in on his classes for free or a nominal fee or something so that I can check it out? I don't need the certificate or anything. Just looking to learn more.

Thanks.

As I assume that Joel is doing something more productive than I am -- sleeping, maybe, or having a nice glass of scotch, I'll answer:

If you already have a permit, Joel charges $135 to sit in on his class.

Sorry I didn't get to your post until now.

For those folks who already have a carry permit, I charge $135; I think TCCarry is a good value, even without the discount. Then again, I would, of course.

Thanks for replying. I will see you in 5 years, I'm too broke to do it right now. :)
