I've now added Utah to my list of instructor certifications; more information at

I deliberately held off on doing that until the time passed for the Commissioner of Public Safety to make up his mind about whether or not Utah permits would be honored in Minnesota for the next year. I felt that if I took public notice that the Utah permit doesn't require a shooting qualification, that might persuade the Commissioner to not approve Utah for the year.
But it's now January...
I'll be scheduling Utah upgrade classes both for my own students and for those recommended by instructors who I know and trust to have done a good job in their carry classes.
