I just purchased 223 Remington (5.56x45mm) 55 gr FMJBT PMC ammo Case (1000 rds) from http://www.the-armory.com/ for 474.42 delivered. The order shipped a couple days ago.

The best deal on .223 I've seen recently is from AIMSurplus for Centurion. US made, brass case, by the 500. It is $169.95/500 which comes to $339.90/1000. A couple weeks ago they were including ammo cans but they ran out. Shipping is $11 (for 500 anyway) to MN. Don't ask me how I know.

It looks like Sportsman's Guide has stuff back in stock:

Look at http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/brow ... c=96&s=953 for 7.62x39

and http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/brow ... c=96&s=907 for .223

The best deal I see right now for .223 is 1,000 rds. .223 Wolf® FMJ 55 Gr. Ammo for $295.

For 7.62x39 they have Wolf in 'sardine cans' 640 rds. 7.62x39 122 Gr. FMJ or HP for $180 ($0.28125/round).

You can save shipping by picking it up at the warehouse at 494 and Hardman in So. St. Paul, or join the buyer's club and save 10% on purchases (but only if you have it shipped).

$295/1000. Nice. Is that Wolf ammo steel case? Are there any issues with that or is is just as good as brass?
