Winchester White box hundreds = 12.88

They will try to sell you the fiftys for more money, both WWB and UMC but ask for the 100s and they suddenly find them. They wouldn't tell me how many they had left, he just kept asking how many I wanted.

Get them while they're hot.

That's why it's nice to have more than one caliber.

I only have 6 or 7 .45s so I reload a lot of that, in fact I reolad about 12 calibers, including 9mm, but I'm going to a range that claims I am only allowed to shoot "factory" so I went and bought some. It pains me to buy tailor made, when I make nice ammo much cheaper. :D :D :D

Stopped by Circle Pines Walmart today. WWB 9mm 100 count was over $14.00 before taxes. WWB .380 100 count was over $22.00. UMC 100 count was over $25.00. No guns for sale anymore either. I asked the kid behind the counter when the price increased and he said it happened this past Wednesday. Although this Walmart was not supposed to lose its guns, it did. Kid said there was a second round of walmart stores losing their long guns, and this store fell into that round even though no one here expected it. He said that as soon as the long guns were off the shelves, the manager said the price of ammo was going up. Said the only store left with guns was the one in Cambridge.

If you stop by your local walmart, please check prices and report here. If there happens to be one close by that hasn't yet lifted its prices, I want to hit it. If I could still get that $12.88 9mm WWB old price somewhere, I'd make a trip elsewhere in the twin cities to pick it up.

I found out about the increase Friday night when I went to Walmart in Coon Rapids. Today (Saturday) I went to the Fridley and Brooklyn Park stores hoping to find the old price. However, both stores had raised the price on what appeared to be all calibers of handgun ammo.

''

Jac, I buy the .45ACP CCI Blazer Brass at Wally World for $9.97/box of 50. It's a couple of pennies cheaper than the WWB (100 ct) and I like it better.
