Striechers sells trade ins (Glocks mostly I believe) that come from depts or LEO training programs. Hit or miss. Usually somebody posts here when they are available.

CDNN has them from time to time too. Download the PDF catalog to see the guns. http://cdnninvestments.com/

Kyle, at Zero Tolerance Arms in Willmar, bought 65 Beretta 96F(?) - .40 cal. DAO - pistols at auction. They're marked with the "Minnesota Highway Patrol" on the slide.

They were complete outfits - Pistol, three mags, holster and mag carrier. In December he had only about 8-10 left. They all have the usual holster wear but are far from being shot out. The holsters and mag carriers are kind of clunky and are shiney patent leather - ugly.

If sold at auction, it's probably hard to tell where they end up.

Yup, I saw some of those that Mark Koscielski got at the auction.

They are typical police guns -- carried much, shot little.

Try here too. You have to be an FFL dealer to get into their firearm auctions.

Here is a list from their last firearm auction.

Depends on their cut.

What shocked me from that PDF of the last auction was the prices. almost every thing there was sold at or near retail pricing. the sellers are actually paying over retail for used guns in some cases.

Express remington 870's 20 ga for $260? I bought a new one last fall from Cabelas for $219

I saw several of beretta's in DAO online just recently for $275 each in good to excellent condition. Several of the ones I saw that came from this auction are in no way good to excellent. Streichers had gotten several that were in poor to fair shape...

I expect that all the junk in the list are seized weapons. I would wonder about the better stuff, the S&W's and the Colts, If they are getting seized my first guess is that they might turn up on a stolen property list.

Maybe they were weapons where the insurace co has already paid back
