Swung through Dick's today. They have the Remington UMC on sale again. I know the stuff has too much muzzle flash, etc., but it's cheap. It's almost like Dick's runs the sale all the time, but figured I'd post anyway in light of the price of ammo these days. Helps to have current information.

The only two I paid direct attention to were .40 S&W and .380. Price for .40 was 11.98 per box of 50 if you bought 10 boxes (case price). Less than ten boxes was 12.98 per box. If you buy a case, my fuzzy math indicates that, with tax, a box of 50 is 12.67. That comes to a little over .25 per round. The .380 was a dollar cheaper (10.98 per case of 10 boxes / 11.98 per box for less than a case).

I want to say the 9mm was 6.98 a box if you bought a case, but don't quote me on that (edited to update price based on other member's info). They had .45 on sale too, and I think it was the same price as the .40. Call ahead to be sure if you're interested.

For comparison, and even though GM says they match prices, their advertised price in their current "firearms circular," found in their stores, has the 250 UMC in .40 at 69.99. That comes to almost .30 a round. So much for GM's sale prices on bulk ammo.

Gander will match price on identical product (Brand and Pack size).
Take in a copy of the Dick's ad and if they carry the identical product and have it in stock they will price adjust. I do it all the time.

I live down in Mankato. What would be the closest Dick's for me?
