Seems like a deal, but...
GM has glock 23, 40 cal for $369. They told me it is used but refurbished from Glock Corp. It was an advertised price so they have a lot of them. What is the story behind this.
I was at St. Cloud GM and a buddy had same story from metro GM.
Are they a good deal?

Yup. For my taste, that's just about the perfect Glock -- I like the .40, and the compact size. I've shot the Glock 27 a couple of times, and the sharp recoil of the .40 makes it kind of a handful.

That said, I'm much more likely to carry my Springfield XD 40, because it points better for me and I really, really like the grip safety.

That is a good price. Is it a Gen II?

That is part of my question. How do I know?

He told me there were two models. one came with two clips, the other with three. I'm still new to the 'semi' world. I just get looking around to keep an eye on price and see if I can be drawn away from the "church"

I'm afraid someday I'll be forced to try a 1911, but I'm afraid of becoming addicted.

I think all of my Glocks are police trade-ins. Never a problem with any of them.

$369 is an excellent price.

They are $349, unless it varies from store to store. I was looking at them in Mankato.

Gander Mountain Ad. -They have gen 3 pictured

They are gen 2. I looked at one the other day. They told me they are factory reconditioned. The ones I looked at were in pretty good shape from what I could tell. My co worker bought one. I'm thinking I may get one. I was looking for something a little smaller though. I think they come with two magazines and a case. :?

Yes, that is a good deal. I have a police trade Glock 22, excellent condition with night sights (how many more years left on the night sights is anyones guess) -$330

Gen 3, Factory refurb, 2 new mags $349.00

2 Orphans left out there in need of a good home

For that price make it a little smaller. If it's a genII cut the grip down to accept G27 mags. You'll ge tthe shorter grip that is easier to conceal for IWB and the slightly longer barrel to help tame recoil and give you a better sight radius.

You just HAD to post this didn't you? I swung by the Blaine GM last night and they were sold out... called Maple Grove and they had a 2nd gen left, called Maplewood and they had a few left - including a 3rd gen with night sights with just a little bit of wear in the finish at the end of the slide - combined with saving another 5% for getting their credit card. And even better, I used a gift card from a company bonus to pay for part of it! I'd have to say that Good Friday was a good day to buy another gun!!!
